Could a heart be transformed when a person is more hideous than a beast? Could a girl with a gentle and pure heart reverse the darkness of a tormented soul? Could a beauty save a beast? Let Alethia’s magical production of The Beauty and the Beast sweep you away into the world of a girl who saw past appearances and touched the inner fibers of the heart of a prince.

"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment; rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight." (1 Peter 3:3-4)

Alethia Christian Theater (A.C.T.) was established January 2009 by six families interested in giving students in the Southern California area a place to develop and grow their dramatic skills and learn the craft of acting. The six families that started A.C.T. saw all the opportunities for musical theater but realized a need in the area of stage acting for young people. Thus, they started this theater with the single vision to bring high quality theatrical productions to young people in Southern California.

In order to achieve this goal, A.C.T. is dedicated to providing high quality directing, age-appropriate plays, and an environment where all actors feel supported and encouraged to grow their talents.
And as an added bonus, most participants are homeschoolers!
